Our friend, Michael Kang, graciously sent us a really cool photo he took of us before we went on stage at Universal Bar & Grill.

Josh and Joe, who were standing between myself and Bill, have been to several of our shows. We’re thankful for their support.

Oh, and don’t ask about the thumbs up. I haven’t seen the Fonz from Happy Days in a long time.

Last night, Bryan and I met on Myrtle in Old Town Monrovia, a great place to take some photos. We walked around for about an hour, and Bryan shared some guru-wisdom with me on the art of photos. Being semi-new to the world of [DSLR] photography, I was like a sponge soaking up all of the knowledge that Bryan, the God of Photos, had to offer me. He gave me some great pointers, and showed me a few new tricks I didn’t know from my rudimentary knowledge of photography I learned in High School.

I am setting a new goal for myself to try to take as many pictures as possible and just get better at photography. To me it has always been just a hobby, but now that I have a better camera (a recently purchased Nikon D40x from our Drummer James) I feel that I can move a step up and start taking some legit photography.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and thanks Bryan for takin’ me under your wing.

I took a break from processing photos at home to see James tracking in the “new” studio.

Side note: James is sporting a complimentary shirt from MailChimp. They’re awesome — and not only because they sent us shirts. They’re a young, epic company specializing in email marketing and email list management.
