Salutations!

If you were there, thanks for making it to Kelly’s Pub this past Sunday. It was a fun show for us and we’re thankful to share it with you.

We currently don’t have any shows booked and we’ll probably keep it that way for a month or two.

In the meantime, we’ve been recording an EP to release to the world. It will be our “dirty word for a dirty world” (Anthony Burgess).

Expect 3-5 original tracks by early 2010. Best of all: it’ll be available in digital format through Bandcamp! (At the moment, we haven’t decided on a title for the project.)

Can we haz photos?

Hiya folks, how’s your Monday going? If you live near LA or Pasadena, are you sick of this heat? It’s starting to back off, but still.

Alright, down to business.

We need live photos for our SXSW 2010 EPK application, which we’re trying to submit this week.

We’d also like to use a selection of those for our websites.

I know some of you are sharing photos of us at Flickr, which we love. But, we need explicit (as in clearly expressed) permission.

Using Mail Big File, please send JPEG files to photos [at] thescarletparadigm.com.

  • If you use watermarks, please keep it small.
  • Minimum 1500 pixels long.
  • Most importantly, give us a link you’d like us to use on the credits page.

We’ll let you know if we use your photos somewhere so you can point and say, “Hey, I took those photos!” Or, something like that.
