If live music gets you going, go to Make Music Pasadena this Saturday, June 19th! There’s 15 different locations where you can hear various genres of live music.

At 6:00pm, we’ll be playing at Mercantile Alley. You can find it south of Colorado Blvd between S Fair Oaks Ave and S Raymond Ave. Afterward, we’ll [most likely] head to Barney’s Beanery (map) for dinner and drinks. Don’t worry, it’s less than 800 feet away.

Our friends, Research Society, invited us play at their EP release show at Mr. T’s Bowl! It’ll be also be our first show in the popular Highland Park dive bar.

Last-minute show at No Future Cafe

Hours before our show yesterday, Jamie Pham posted on his Facebook wall that No Future Café was looking for someone to play their 9pm slots tonight because a band dropped out. I contacted him immediately and got us on the bill. Excellent! (Sorry, I just watched Wayne’s World 1 and 2.)

Three interesting facts about this show:

We played at NFC exactly one year ago.
This is our first time playing back-to-back shows.
We attempted to have a San Francisco tour for this weekend (Thursday through Sunday), but it fell through.

Our friend, Michael Kang, graciously sent us a really cool photo he took of us before we went on stage at Universal Bar & Grill.

Josh and Joe, who were standing between myself and Bill, have been to several of our shows. We’re thankful for their support.

Oh, and don’t ask about the thumbs up. I haven’t seen the Fonz from Happy Days in a long time.
